Gretting from Orange

Just stayed in Orange, working doing both field work and database programming. Only got a couple of hours in herping. Saw heaps of cunningham skinks and a few other species

Alex, I think your referring to the scales near the ear, a lot of skinks have these.

Nice Shots Fuscus, did you happen to check out Mt Canoblas herpwise at all? Wondering where you saw those ones?
you sure get around mate. Incidently Orange is my home town. Was always lots of snakes n Lizards out there from memory.
We lived at the foot of Mt Canoblas, not in town itself.
I have many memories of summers out there, tackling the blackberry brambles, and oodles of rbb's and browns that lived in them.

Didn't get to do much herping inny, only a couple of trips. For most of the time it was very cold.
But I did get this photo of a unusual colored rocket frog

Lol mark, if theres any one word descriptive of orange at any time of year bar mid summer, its 'cold' .
Nice shots of some intresting animals, third down from the top looks like a regenerated tail?
no idea what the frog/toad is though, maybe its impersonating a redback spider.
keep the pics comin mate, great way to see a big variety of species.
