GTF feeding

Hi everyone.
before i post i want to apologise to anyone who may think that my thread is irrelavant or annoying as these opinions seems to be the theme these days.

i got my new GTF babies on the weekend. atm there about the size of a 10cent piece.
i have been feeding them crickets and as best as i can tell they are not eating.
im wondering if this could be due to the tank being large and them being very small? the tank is about 2 and a half foot long and the same tall, its not quite 2 ft wide (i think).
should i take them out to feed and put them in something smaller till i can be sure they have eaten? or should i feed them with tweezers? any suggestions would be great.

Try feeding them with tweezers, then the food can't run away from them. You can still leave some crickets in their enclosure to chase, they will eventually get the idea and soon be big enough to catch them easy! But for now to help them, feed with tweezers so you know they are actually get something.

yup i agree , go the tweezer idea that way u know each are geting food , see how ya go.

Keep temps over 22 degress 24/7... they should be eating with gusto, post a pic up of your enclosure if possible.

Alot of frogs wont go for twisers, try putting in a small click clack by them selves with 2-3 crickets or woodies (make sure they arent to big or small) then leave them alone for a good couple of hours ( do this at night)
This method was recommended to me by the guy i got my first frogs of and has always worked for me with trouble feeders

Missy I always feed with tweezers as well. If they put their head down and with their arm push you away..keep bugging(pun) them, they will eventually open their mouths..
It is the only way when they are little to know they are getting a feed.
I still feed my big adults this way.

jut wanted to let everyone know that i took advice and tweezer fed this afternoon. i was expecting resistance but nope they went crazy!!! screamer ate 11, within 5 mins and juan don antonio ate 13, i thought they were going to swallow the tweezers at one stage lol. so thanks everyone for your advice.
obviously they will eat am lot this way so how many should i give them?

That's great, when they're little I feed till they run away from me, or stop taking them. And even then I throw a couple extra in their enclosure in case they change their minds a bit later and feel hungry.
