GTF trying to eat fake leaves

hey guys,
just fed my GTF and one managed to get a mouthful of fake leaves when pouncing on a roach. it has continues to eat down branch of the fake plant. if tried to gently nudge its mouth off it but then he just takings another mouthful...

will he realize he cant eat it and spit it out?

he's a frog... he doesn't 'know a fake plant' it looks real to him, it can damage him,
take it out.....

is that more helpful ????

Meh, I have tonnes of fake plants in with my frogs, imagine all the sticks and bits of bark and crap they eat in the wild. Leave the plants in there.

My frogs try to eat anything that moves including me sometimes. Real or fake, once it hits their mouth they'll realise whether it's edible or not.

I wouldn't worry about it, as long as they cant actually break it off and swallow it.
