Hi all

I have a water bowl in a small exoterra tank for my large GTF and I was wondering how often do I change the water? I'm currently doing this once every 2 days but I'm not sure if this is enough?

Also would anyone recommend me filling the bottom with 2/3 water and filtering it with an internal filter? Would this be better for my GTF?

Cheers Pat

Gtf

filter idea much better. you should change water every day or two. quite often

I just use a water bowl for the gtf in my exo terra and change it when it gets crappy.
That four big frogs in the tank and a largish water dish.
Once a week i might change it or top it up depending on the state of the water.

I use an exo terra tank with 10cm of water and a waterfall filter provides some where to hide looks great and is very quiet

if you are willing to set it up the in-tank filter is a mush better idea...

this will also save you time and you probably will not have to replace the water for long periods of time...

though you may need to top up the water level every so often....

hope this helps...
enjoy
