Just a quick one for people who have raised hatchies... is the slough cycle (opaque eyes-clear eyes-slough) shorter in hatchings than in older (1yr+) snakes? My adult snakes usually have the opaque eyes for 2-3 days, and take 10-12 days total, but when i checked my hatchling yesterday(sunday) his eyes looked as though they were turning opaque and then this morning they were clear. It gets checked daily and his eyes were normal on saturday.
