My God! Gee there are some knobs around! :?

This was the best advice given, I sincerely hope he listens to it!

Return the snake, get your money back and buy a book on snakes and figure out what kind you get interested in and suitable for beginners before you thinking of getting another snake. I?d recommend a corn snake, Elaphe guttatus, before you start with pythons.

.........Especially those pythons!

Every time I read a story like this, the more I appreciate the laws in this country. I'll give that snake an 80% chance of being dumped.

Did you read this bit?! ...and they wonder why they have problems over there with exotics getting into the wild! :?

anyway seems u guys say its so not proper to have this as a beginner snake, i think i'd just let it go into the wild dense forest, what do u guys think ?

I'll up your odds Fuscy :lol:

good stuff!! just love idiots sometimes, cracks me up.............but i agree, not a high chance of living very long.......

to the guy who bought the snake - "YOU IDIOT."

I researched for ages before I bought my first snake - a juv diamond.

What sort of moron says, "I like snakes now, I might go and get one and then find out how to keep it and what it is."

Ok, i got dibs on 3 months before it dies!!! See how its housed??? what a doofus!

LOL No, I actually missed it.
Someone should take a short stick to that guy.

Also imagine releasing an animal like that and then later reading its eaten a child.
Personally I think he should collect unstable and rusty hand grenades

On the plus side, he is asking questions, maybe he'll wake up.

Just reading pages 2 and 3 and the rest with a bit more care. The owner is in Malaysia, I was under the impression he was a yank. If he releases it into the deep, dense forest at least he wont be relocatng it out of its natural range. As to if it survives, well thats another question. The zoo bit could be true, but it may not be a large zoo. At least in that part of the world you could keep an animal like that outdoors in an avary. A strong avary.
