hay herp people in my sunny queensland just a heads up that flooding is likely over a large part of queensland including brisbane sevral weather modles bring a tropical cyclone in from goc to fallow the east coast right down to brisbane some arias
may reseve up to 600mm from the event it is not shore if it will match flooding of event of 2010 but its just a heads up from you weather loving reptile keeper geckoman

stay safe and keep an eye on the weather if you are in queensland.

Man Yeh I know I live A few hours out of Brisbane and it has been raining for 2 days non stop ATM, Same with up in hills town sending water flowing into the river. Grr I hate living in A hole lol.

:( it hasn't stopped raining here in Brissy and roads starting to flood along with creeks etc but fingers crossed there will never be a repeat of last year

yea it better not flood agian... im starting to get hours at work again... sheesh...

Good luck you mob.

Darwin is in the eye of a potentially cyclonic low (998hp) and the rain is phenomonal as I write this. We also have an 8 meter tide tonight so I'm glad I'm up high.

Was driving from Caboolture to Beerwah and some roads are cut off due to flash flooding. Has not stopped raining here all day!

You stay save up there 2 Steve!!!

It's ridiculous, we're getting a little rain here Steve but no where near what we need.

All that does is make me nervous that when the rain finally does come it will all come at once and flood us out...

Damn rain today wet all the electrics and the computer in my ute, worst day to happen because after a few hours of dismantling and drying out meant I was 3 hrs late picking up my SR Woma from brissy airport.Got home, got the placid beautiful little princess 'Kate' out and put her in a click clack, made myself a bourbon. All the stress gone chillaxing watching her settle in.

Yea it's a crazy season. Darwin was a desert a week ago. From the balcony I can see the golf course flooding and hear the roar of
the storm water drain at the head of the gully.

Of course I just took some leave go fishing at the mouth of the Finnis. That aint happening. The camp is 1/2 meter above the high tide line ha ha.

Never mind Gordo. Your monsoon will come (although as you say, maybe all at once!)

i did that last year, raced home with a boyds the day it hit.... poor things

Hope it all turns out good for you northerners. Like has been said, stay safe and keep ya heads in check. The old lady is a churchy so she's praying for ya!! Good luck up there!
