Just a post to find out how confident/unconfident everyone else is going with their exams.
Mine seem to be on a nice slope downwards, enjoy!

Haha,
Im glad ive done mine already. They were pretty easy, but all teh teachers made such a big deal out of it everyone got stressed! So Dont listen to em dude, ull find unless your a complete idiot your final exams will be fairly easy.

Good luck mate ;)

I agree, i did it a few years ago and they were pretty easy, teachers make out like it is the end of the world or something if you dont do well. Forget them, if your going to uni and you dont get what you were after its not the end of the world, just do well in your first semester and you can easily change to the course you want.

Goodluck though.

Yeh, its just easier to do well and get straight into it!!

I am in my final year now, so will be sitting my HSC in a years time exactly. Can't wait to finish school!!

Cheers Alex

I didn't get too stressed during HSC - but I know a whole lot of people who did and they're no better off for it. Just chill, she'll be right mate.

Ow Im not stressed in the least just curious how others are doing. I know I failed the English exam, coz a. I didnt study the AOS b. am not an exam thinker (i like stimuli and talking, hate writing and not being able to move) and c. Didnt manage to answer half the paper (refer to point b). lol.
Im pretty laid back, just a curious person by nature.lol

Do you want to go to uni?

Nope not a chance. Looked at the UAC book and not a single course at any uni that interests me. I picked the wrong courses anyways, I chose stuff for uni back in the day coz everyone said to go to uni, but after a trip to japan and a lot of soul searching I have no interest in going or the subjects i picked. Im still capable (Have all those lovely 'Jay is a bright and highly intelligent student, but only works when motivated by personal interest' on all my school stuff.....plus have the faculties hating me for not acing stuff.lol) just prefer to do things differently. Why live if you always have to follow every single thing others say, Ive thought of the difficulties and still like the situation.lol.

Everyone has the type of place they want to be (workwise), they just need to find it. Currently at my third uni (the first studied accounting which I hated, the second so I could transfer to the third).
I miss school it was such a bludge I have to do work at uni now. If some of the academics could spend a year or two in the real world I think it would help.

Sorry now I'm ranting!!

Yeah I got a mate at Uni and he does not sound like hes having much fun.lol. And yeah Im pretty set on the navy thing. It seems to fit for me. I like exercise, dont mind taking orders, I like the idea of travel, the pay sounds about right for me, and defending my country sounds like a purpose to me moreso than a way to survive (money wise, etc.lol).
The positions Im after I meet the base requirments for, and I have no interest in having dependants (family), and am healthy etc. Sure the HSC would look good added on, but I seem to fit their requirements and if I fail at first I can always keep trying.

ughhhh - NO MORE ENGLISH!

EVER!!

Everyone at my school was incredably layed back and made me feel like i had studied a great deal ...

in reality it was only a couple hours total :p

... i actually think i did alright though - remembered quotes and names which is a plus!

dude, dont stress about not knowing what you want just yet, it took me 7 years out of high school to realise what i wanted to do.

Im only just now getting on the path i want to be on.
