The following photos are of my bearded dragon Atilla. She came to me about a year ago as a rescue that couldn't be returned to the wild. She had completely lost her eye and this was clear as it was all sunken in. As you can see in the last month or so it was swollen, opened and started weeping clear fluid. I started out just bathing it to remove any gunk build up how ever in the last week I have started her on antibiotics but have seen no improvement in the last week she has also go from being active to sleeping and not eating her bugs.

Does anyone know what could of caused this to happen and if there is any other ways to treat it. Obviously if there is nothing to be done I will have her put down I just hope there is sosomething thanks for any help in advance

there is still no improvement today if anyone has any ideas or thoughts please post them im really starting to wonder if i should just go and have her put down

This in no way is an attack on you but why are you relying on a forum to diagnose the dragon instead of simply taking it to a vet and getting treatment it obviously needs. It could be a simple matter as a bit of debris getting in the eye socket and the immune system trying to clear it out. Were the antibiotics from a vet?

She has gone to the vet that's were I got the antibiotics. Where I live there isn't a reptile specialist and my vet has no idea what's wrong that's why they gave me the antibiotics to try

The eyes is pretty bad, it looks like he has a foreign object or has had a foreign object in there. I am not a vet and so will not say exactly what it is, but I advice you to find the closest reptile vet to your area and get your dragon seen ASAP. Not looking to good and it is extremely swollen.
