I have 10 baby blue tongues.
There had been 12 but one didn't make it and another just died today. They will happily eat quail egg raw but are iffy about meal worms and aren't even making an effort to eat live crickets.
Any advice on how to get them to eat more as in live food? Do we force feed them or what? They are spending time with the parents in their outdoor enclosure and being brought in for feeding time twice a day.
Need help please

Uh, why do you think they Need to eat live food? Have you tried feeding them a varied diet consisting of veggies, meat, fruit and supplements?
Meal worms are a treat and should only be fed occasionally but at this age you should be concentrating on nutrition.
Do you know that bluetongues do not nurture their young after that are born?

I had 11 babies born about 2 months ago, my pairs first litter. This may not be perfect advice and I'm sure someone with more experience will jump in soon and help you out. But I would separate the babies from the parents as they should be self reliant from birth, I ensured that the young were in their own enclosure with plenty of hides, heat, uv etc. I essentially fed them the same diet as the parents, fruit and vegetables(finely cut), small amount of dog/cat food( dusted with calcium), and I also threw in meal worms. What I did find is that they were very shy and would not eat while I was anywhere in sight. So by keeping them in their own enclosure you won't be moving them around to feed and stressing them. This is just my experience, all my young grew well and I have now moved them to other homes so I hope this advice might help you out a bit.
