I was hoping some people who know what to look for could help me out with this.
It is well known that pygopods can be (to a certain extent) sexed solely on the sizes of both their paracloacal flaps (remnants of legs) or in males, the presence of spurs beneath these flaps.
However, to support my bad luck and poor eyesight, this individual seems to enjoy my frustration and refuses to lift its flaps in an attempt to see spurs. Therefore, in accordance with both 'Keeping and Breeding Australian Lizard's' by Mike Swan and Rob Porter's Scaly-foot article in 'Scales and Tails' January edition, I have attempted to take some (of use) photographs of the animal and some dorsal photos of the vent area in the hope someone will aid me in sexing...?
Anyone can have a go provided they know what to look for... Personally, I'm saying female? I can upload more photos if required...
Thanks in advance.
