I have a humidity problem! i bought some coir peat for my woma (that im getting next friday) for it to dig in. And ive been letting it dry out in the sun for about 3 days and i decided to put it in the enclosure and the humidity is 99%. I put the right amount of water in as it said to. What should i do? :?

If you're really worried why not just remove it and let it dry out even more? Otherwise, depending on your heating and ventilation, it should dry out within the next few days. I use about half the amount of water that it says in the instructions when I make it up. I found that using the volume in the instructions tended to make more of a soup consistency

I use boiling water, and only just enough to expand it. Then I let it cool and usually chuck it straight in. It's dry within a few days usually :)

Thanks everyone, ill keep an eye on it within the next few days, if it doesnt drop ill let it dry out again.

When my snakes start showing signs of shedding I wet the coir peat down and they shed super fast and cleanly.
