does anyone know a good national park ..ect to herp at gosford/central coast id like to take some photos of some diamond pythons other reptiles like geckos ect... and what is the best time to have a look for them:)?

I saw a Diamond Carpet crossing the road just north of Gosford a few weeks ago, mid afternoon. I wasn't in a national park (I don't think!) or anywhere too special, just driving around in a reasonably well-vegetated area being a tourist, not really knowing where I was and certainly not looking for Diamonds. I saw goannas and a couple of small dragons on the road too.

Easiest way to photograph Diamonds is to find someone with a pet and visit them! ;) I think you generally just have to get lucky and be in the right place at the right time to find Diamonds, even if you're in an area where they're common. I'm sure some people who live in the area can give you some better ideas about where you're most likely to see them (whether or not they'll be willing is another story).

Seems as though you're making alot of threads about "finding" diamonds in the wild.
I thought most of your questions have been answered already?

Most reptile field guides have info about the habitat where Diamonds are found in them.
Looking at R.Shine's papers on the work he's done with diamonds would provide even more insight.

So chuck on some boots and head out into the bush and have a look.

Those "diamonds" that only grow to 1.2m are cool, especially with their "broad" head

The watagans are generally a good place on the coast to find diamond and goannas etc... We were up there a few weeks ago and saw some red bellied blacks near a waterhole...
