Sending positive, healing thoughts Delilah's way. Could only imagine how nervous you must be. Please let us know how she goes... she'll need heaps of tender loving care when she comes home!

How's Delilah? Did the vet remove the retained egg? Hoping she's on the way to a full recovery...

She went back today (had a calcium shot yesterday) and had an oxytocin shot today, in two halves (short time apart) She passed a deformed egg, and is now recovering. Will let you know how she goes in a few days

I was actually told by another forum member that i should ask for oxytocin as a preference before surgery, but the vet seemed very reluctant and put up an argument against it, although he did eventually do things the way i wanted. And of course, she passed the egg like i just mentioned, no surgery required. Was wondering what everyone has to say about that? (and want to thank Jason publicly for his help)
