Housing Blue tongue lizard and darwin python

Can someone please solve an argument between my son and I?

My son seems to think a baby blue tongue and a year old python can live together happily and I say the python will eat the lizard.

Can someone please tell us the facts?

i reckon the blue tongue will take a nice chunk out of the tail mistakening it for a worm

but yes the python *could* eat the blue tongue however unlikely, it can happen and has happened before people cohabing

if ur goal is for them to be "friends", It wont happen.
