is it posible to house different sub species of carpets together?

i have a 4.5ft / 3ft / 2ft enclosure with a yearling Murray Darling and i dont have much room for another large enclosure and wont for a few years untill i move out

So would it be posible to house another carpet with him? Either a darwin, bredli or diamond, i know they take differnt temps but there is not much differnce so could i just work out a par temp to suit both?

Also will he accept a new snake? he has been on his own for a good 8 or 9 months

oh btw i dont intend to breed them so sex doesnt worry me if it is posible to house them what sex would i be best off with? i currently have a male

i'd Imagine that it would need to be a slow introducing process, say an hour a day and icerase it as you go.
Also you might need to keep an eye on their size, one might grow faster than the other.
Are you planning to feed them seperatly?

Feeding sperately is a must!!! and I dont think snakes should be housed together year round - I have heard to many stories of the consequences.
Cheers

As long as they are the same size you shouldn't have a problem. I've raised a few snakes together without any trouble. I didn't even seperate them for feeding just fed them at the same time. I would advise seperating them though.
I know alot of people that keep snakes together year round and never have any problems, i don't do it personally but thats just me.

:pIt probably could be done no problems but imho i wouldnt stick 2 snakes of any species together unless it was for breeding let alone 2 different species.I have heard of to many problems happening from this most times resulting in death to a snake.if you were to do this i would think of matching species by geographical cross overs ie diamonds n nsw coastals. :p
