How big/fast do turltes frow?

A friend of mine is getting a turtle... And she has a 4 ft tank for it...

She has asked me how fast they grow. How quick will a baby outgrow a 4ft tank?

I only have snakes so have no idea... Anyone help me out please??

what kind of turtle is it? i dont have turtles but im pretty sure any turtle you can keep will be happy in a 4 ft tank all its life.

It will definatly outgrow a 4 foot tank and need to be put in a larger 6foot or preferably a pond after a few years. The time will depend on the type of turtle.

They will fit in a shoe box but it doesnt make it wright
1200 tank will last a few years. One thing to keep in mind is that turtles arent goldfish and as such need more room.
