to get albino babies can you use male /female het or can only use albino and het or male and female albinos to get good colour

het x het will give on average 25% of the clutch albino. While alb x het will give 50% of the cluth albs.

yes you can use just hets to get some albinos you will also get from the same clutch some hets and albinos

2 albinos gives all albinos
Het + albino gives 50% albino 50% het
Het + het gives 25% albino 25% normal and 50% het

so better off with male/female albinos. what do you think about caramel coloured albinos will they have white albino babies??

What species are you referring to? Caramels if albino's will usually be T+ and no they wont give you T- albinos.

i've seen some carpets at sydney expo $2000 and they where not white more caramel in colour and some on sale as albino's but there not white more caramel in colour

were they darwin hatchies? if so, hatchy darwin albinos lose that caramel colour as they get older.

yer only a few weeks old. so if you buy new borns how do you pick good colours if there not fully colour. does the caramel colour turn to white or is it just luck to what you pick

one thing i have always wanted to know is if you breed a 100% het with a normal carpet will you still get 100% hets ?,you would think it would work the same way as breeding a albino to a normal carpet? has anyone done this to find out?

which are called 50% possible hets, because you cannot identify them by appearance.
