How do you tell if a snake is overweight "?

i usually tell by the way the tail tapers..if that helps you
 
I go by the tail and the head & neck. Snakes are supposed to have a bit of a taper from the head going into the neck and body and again at the tail.... If the snake doesn't have a neck, chances are, it's over fed... Also if its round like a sausage with no muscular definition down the lateral line, I'd say it needs to get on a treadmill (run fatty run)
 
For me its more about muscle definition.
Spend time looking and handling friends animals of the same species and you will soon identify what looks different/fat
 
Okay thanks, I went on Google images looked at people overweight snakes. My snakes are healthy.
