my jungle is 18 months old and about 4 feet. Until now i have been feeding him/her once a week and has just started eating young adult rats. but at what age or how do i know when i should stop feeding him/her weekly and start feeding once every 2 weeks? im worried his getting a bit too fat.

You can try dropping it back to every two weeks and just see if he gets hungry in between. It shouldn't be an issue though

I usually see what the time intervals are between sheds.. and look for a period of approximately 8 weeks.. if its longer I increase the size of food item or frequency, if its less than 8 weeks I reduce the frequency a little.. just a bit of a guide I use myself.

no probs.. Im not saying this is the correct amount of food to shed rates or that more or less than 8 weeks is wrong, and only saying this is a rough rule of thumb Ive used and it seems to work ok for me. some people like to grow their animals at different rates so adjust it to suit your needs.
