may only have 1

thanks for the infomation, Cobar is about two years and it dosnt really matter how much they have at least one because midnight wants one...but we might not want to sell out of wa im not sure we are not breeding to late this year/early next year.

You might want to check on your licencing regulations before rushing in to hard.
Pretty sure there are restrictions in WA on how many of 1 species you can sell per season on a pet herpetofauna licence and you are restricted to who you can sell to. (Licenced dealers)

"the licensee may sell to a licensed dealer no more than one clutch bred from any species specified on this license in any calender year"

straight off the license sheet lol. :)

Tee hee, yeah i do want one ever so badly... (Thanks 4 thinking of me Shari)

WHat does that mean?? That i cant ever get a WA shingle?

You can have one all you have to do is find someone in the eastern states that breeds them or do what a few of us have done and fork out the $$ for freight and permits and get one from WA

Definately worth getting more than 1 at a time then huh. Ill have to get saving and get a pair i think

your aloud to let your herps breed and stuff but you have to a record for the department for licences we are probaly going to have 4 shingles with two clutches a year only small.

You are still only allowed to sell i clutch per year and only to a licenced dealer, private sales are not permitted

Im still awestuck how fat my girl is., I sure hope she is gravid. I originally got my shingles for $30 ea, till some nitwit told him they were worth heaps more, now he charges $350 for the all-black ones like mine...

I will still strive for WA shingles, Im not as rich as i used to be, but with some planning of my (dole bludger) $$'s I will eventually have enough. Haha
Sometimes i miss my big fat earnings at my old job...

we are not going to farm them any more because its $1000 a year we are just going to get a few babys every now and then.
