My gecko has some sand attached to its wound how should I clean this wound? I currently have sand as a substrate.Cheers,James

If it was my gecko I would leave it alone, a bit of sand on the stub wont stop the tail from growing back

A good misting should dislodge most of the sand and I would be misting the gecko frequently to keep her hydrated (losing a tail takes its toll after all lol)
