What is the best way to increase the humidity in the enclosure of my coastal? i was thinking a wet tea towel or something in the bottom for a while to see what happens? any good ideas?

Where do you live? If its anywhere in Australia, unless it's the driest and coldest place in aus, the humidity is fine. Humidity isn't much of a big issue for most carpets. Anywhere between 50%-90% is fine, and even than, 90% could be too high, you don't want to cause scale rot.
