hi all as the title suggest i (Stupidly)may have smoked fluon accidentally...
well about 10 minutes ago, I went downstairs to get some wood roaches,i was bent over trying to capture the little buggers and my hand touched a bit of the fluon that was painted on the sides (it was dry) anyway i ended up giving up on gettin the roaches an had a smoke completely forgetting about washing my hands!!:facepalm:,would it be harmful?, are there any side effects?? i didnt notice any weird smells or anything, any help would be appreciated.

If you are really that worried I would suggest contacting the Poisons Information Center, they are far more equipped to deal with your concerns than a reptile forum :)

The fluorine compounds such as Teflon and I guess Fluon (both "non-stick" products) can be very toxic when overheated - a teflon coated frypan or saucepan will give off a gas which will kill birds in enclosed spaces when overheated, but I wouldn't think there's a problem with having it on your fingers when smoking. By far the biggest problem would be the tar in your lungs from the cigarette (if that's what you were smoking...)

Im sure everything in your cigarette was more harmful lol.
