Eastern Brown.Cardwell
description Eastern Brown

Hello Snake Experts

this was sent to me by email, saying the photo was taken after the cyclone this year by some linesmen working in Cardwell. I would love to get identification knowledge from you experts - the photo is labelled "Eastern Brown" as you can see; apart from the humongous size normally only being a python, it looks more to me like a taipan the way it is strung out straight and has the black head.

Also interested if anyone passed this around previously.

kind regards and best wishes

I know the image your talking about and it has beennposted before. Lots of people said it was a fake snake as it looked so unnatural, but it definently wasn't a king brown. I don't have the pic to repost sorry

General1,

Don't worry. You are by no means the only person to be taken in by this bit of make- believe. A well perpetrated hoax, no more, no less.
