I have a new clutch of children snakes and would like to find out the ways other breeders get there new borns feeding. I've got most of them eating I just have a couple that don't seem to be ready yet. It's been around two weeks since they shed.
Any idea would be great.

i try chicken blood that some times works or if it goes to long assist feeding can work but do plenty of research on how to do it properly. or you can put the food in there hide with them

Thanks I'll give the chicken blood a go.

Braining the pinkie seems to work for some, tapping the pinkie on the neck of hatchie, scenting with a skink (if you want to go down that road) dip the pinkie in egg yolk, try a section of rat tail, even heard of scenting with tuna. Congrats on the clutch good to hear you got most feeding how many did you end up with R.A.P?

8 children's and more coming.

Thanks for all the info. Is there any other ideas that breeders use to get there baby snakes feeding.

My jungle never accepted pinkie mice as a hatchling, the first she accepted was a pinkie rat. Scenting with a rat might be worth a shot as well. I would imagine that egg yolk, scenting with a lizard or frog or braining would have more success with most individuals though going from what I've heard/read

patience works well. 2 weeks is nothing to be worried about.

with ants i have had most success with braining. leaving a pinkie in over night usually works also. some just take longer than others. only offer food once a week, if you keep offering you'll just stress them out.
