Just thought I would share with you the funniest looking fish I have ever seen at Kellyville Pets! - I tell ya if it wasn't saltwater, I would buy 10 of them and only them! I think it was called a something horned cow fish :)

They be longhorn cowfish, aren't they just awesome :) I had a similar experience the first time I ever came across some juvie yellow boxfish at a local aquarium, trippiest looking things, I wanted to take them home sooo bad

hahaha i just looked up image for the yellow boxfish very cute!! man every time i look at the photos i think i'm going to explode

lol my missus said we have to go buy him, so it looks like he will be in my marine setup tomoz

I wanted one of these years ago when I was loking in to setting up a marine / coral aquarium. The shop owner told me to only keep them with their own kind or with seahorses, as faster fish tend to pick on them and stress them out, which results in them releasing a toxin into the system and wiping out your stock. Dunno if this was bona fide or not, but cute as they are I wasn't going to take the chance. Never did set that tank up...

I'll put him in the gf's nano marine setup until I check it out and see what it can coinhabit with

It is very true, they stress out pretty easily, the set up I saw for the juvies included a few seahorses and that was all. Also they grow quite large and will require quite a big tank to thrive happily as adults.

I would love to have an awesome tropical aquarium.shame they are so high maitenance

I think he was $90 and all buy himself very, very small delicate fins. I'm so jelly ! let us know how he goes if you do get him :)

My mate had one. They are cute but if they feel stressed they release toxin that will wipe out everything in your tank. My mate had this happen to him

aussie pride, u have a missus and a gf? nice work.. or a sucker for punishment lol

I kept a couple of these maybe 20 years ago now in a community tank with no issues at all.
