will be seting up my incubater as im pretty cetain my female bearded dragon is pregnant as she has been digging like crazy and just wondering if this idea will work.

fill a foam box partly with water and place a 25watt aqaurium heater in there set at 30*.
place my conatainer with the eggs in it in the foam box possibly floating on the water.
will this work correctly, what substrate is best to use, do i need an air tight container, or will one with air holes work, if anyone could help me out would be great, this will be my first time breeding. cheers.

Ur better of putting them in a separate container just suspended above the water
Use a 1:1 mix of vermiculite (u get it at bunnings) and water by weight
Keep the container sealed

thanks mate,
so should i sit the conatiner on simething possbly a brick so its above the water.
will any conatiner with a sealed lid do, do i need to air them out or do anything or
just leave them until they hatch

Yep, you could use a brick, just make sure they wont move around.
Release the stale air out of the air-tight container by opening the lid up once a week.
Just about any Air-tight container will do the trick, even a Chinese takeaway container.

No need for a totally sealed container, Reptile eggs dont need it.
ALL our eggs are incubated in ventilated containers in a ventilated incubator.
