The humidity in my incubator is saying its 99 but I checked in the tubs and it's not moist at all and now the eggs have deflated not all of them but some. I think this is due to low humidity let me know what you think?

the lcd desplay thing dont work for my humidity thing either,
all i did was just buy a hygrometer (humidity gauge) and then just go from that,
but about your eggs deflating wouldnt know enough about to tell you the cause of that,

I put water in there as soon as I noticed. I read it could be lack of humidity. I'm so pissed off I was worrying this whole time there was too much humidity but it's stupid :/

They should be fine, as it doesn't sound too bad. I should also say that eggs will deflate a bit naturally especially in the last week or two. However the tub media should never be dry to the touch. For interest generally eggs should gain weight as the embryo develops, the increase comes from absorbing the water which is used for development. In the last few weeks as metabolism picks up the reverse should occur as waste gases exit.

i had to go to hospital for a week suddenly and when i got back my albino N/W had laid her clutch, they were all dry and collapsed, put them in incubator and have left them 3 days, checked them and some are yellow and deflated but a couple look as if they will survive. im spewing 16 albino eggs and id b lucky to get 2or3. some are starting to smell and go mouldy. just hope ihave better luck with my RP projects and save the season.
