Info Australian Painted Turtle (Emydura subglobosa)??

Hi All

Just started to show an interest in the above species. Apparently some individuals in this species have a red throat markings as well as pinkish underside shell colouration. Does anyone keep them?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cool - I noticed them on URS. Anyone got an idea on the age for breeding?

I'm purchasing mine from Craig Latta, his are alot more colourful than the URS ones .Craig will be able to help you out with any questions you may have. My guess would be that they breed around the same age most other turtles do. Not quite sure what age that is though... maybe 3-5 years??

ive got 2 painted there cute little turtles, no there not the same as yellow faced turtles
