give them a choice of different ones to get them started like mine likes carrots most but once they find one they like you can change it easier.
just offer the vegetables before feeding them any live food and sometimes if you rub a bit of them on there nose they will start to get a taste for them. sounds a bit weird but it has worked.
Thanks ill give these a try, i was told they were being trialled on bok choy, but hadnt taken any so far, so ill just try with that fo a bit, then try other stuff when that doesnt work lol.
yes they are fatty. and for young dragons that age.
pinhead crickets will be suffice together with their vegies and salads.
be very sure never to feed them iceberg lettuce though
umm born on the 28th of dec.
So just over two weeks old.
they are so lively for so young D:
Probably between 7-12cm each? i dont have them here right now, so im just guessing.
i just get them from a local pet store, so im probably being over charged, but they are cheaper than other stores around my area.
if theyre that young you'll still have to offer live food 2-3 times a day, especially if theyre living together.
hungry dragons eat each others tails/toes.
you can try breaking little pieces of veggies and dropping them in front of them the movement gets them to eat it or you can also move the pieces around with a skewer plus leave veggies in there for 24/7 [ refresh a couple of times a day ] once one starts eating them the others will follow it doesn't take long
cheers Deano
If they're only several weeks old, the breeder I got mine from suggests baby food, mashed vegie/fruit range. Once they readily eat this, you can start introducing diced vegies mixed with the baby food then slowly reduce the baby food until it's only fresh vegies & fruit.
