Just had my naughty female diamond out to clean her cage (and can i just say WOAH :shock: ) and as usual we hooked her out and then I just stayed with her on the floor while Luke cleaned . I didn't handle her too much, just kinda pulled her back to me when she started moving away (funnily enough that was always towards Luke's feet lol). Anyway, when he finished I tried to pick her up to put her back and she started flailing around a bit like she usually does, then all of a sudden....wait for it.....she bit A SOCK lol. Just a sock of Luke's which was on the ground near her. So i put the bitch back in her cage and then noticed that she had a piece of sock stuck in her teeth :lol:. God damn snake loves to bite me and she goes and gets a piece of sock stuck in her teeth. So we're sitting here thinking GREAT now we gotta get her out again and gotta actually fiddle with the sharp end...thankfully she rubbed her face on a few things and pulled it off herself. But not quick enough for me to miss out on some lovely piccies to embarass her (not that she cares but it makes me feel better )

were the pics taken of the snake outside of the enclosure?? how close were you if so if it is grumpy

pugs, the pics were taken after i put her back in her enclosure and then realised she had the sock between her teeth and opened it again to get her out to try and remove it lol. but i thought i'd grab some pics first . she's not grumpy as in she'll ark up and strike constantly or anything, she's more what i would describe as multiple personalities lol. she seems fine if you reach in to grab her with your hands but as soon as you've picked any part of her up she'll start constricting you REALLY tight (at that point i start feeling really sorry for any mice/rats fed live! :lol. then after a min or so she'll bite and start hissing and get really cranky. or if you hook her out of the cage she'll be fine for a while but it only takes something small to set her off...for example a sock lol. one time i had her out and she was just cruising, she came past my hand and turned her head like she was gonna have a go just out of nowhere...you can see the switch to Evil Sunshine lol :lol:
