is this a major skink?

Hi i recently have been sold what i think to be a major skink, i have tried to add a picture for you to see but as i am not very good at computers so dont know if it will work? can anyone help me please...i am a damsel in distress

kind of looks like a skink with gills not sure though...good looking skink if it is that

LOL yeh he is a beauty if in fact he is male.The reptile shop who sold it said it was a plated lizard but i thought it looked more like a skink.. he is very aggressive too.Ive been searching the net for days to no avail and have ended up with square eyes. Thanx anyway
