Hi,

Here for some more advice with my frogs =)

Came home today and one of my frogs is pulling some loose skin off his leg with his mouth and then eats it. He then sits there sort of gasping in a way, sorta like they do sometimes after eating but this continues as he moves his stomach about in a strange way.

For those who cant get a clear idea of what i mean, I have some pics and a small vid.. the video just shows the aftermath.

Perfectly normal and if they are growing fast can happen on an almost weekly basis.

Cheers Andrew

Yep, he's just shedding. It worried me the first time I saw it happen - I thought the poor little thing was going to be sick!

Yep! Every time I see ours start to do it, I freak out, then it clicks! Does make them look sick but hey! :D

ok, thats good. She's had skin come off before but I've never seen her eat it.. which I still find strange...

thanks guys :)
