just a thought but Ive noticed that sometimes the legs and tails on my rats are almost dangling off at times due to how they have been frozen? maybe its a coincidence and the tails are hanging off when your feeding and become dislodged during the swollowing process?
she was on pinkies before never did it, i think it make be somthing to do with them being frozen and that part of the tail might be the weak point on a mousey =)
how much later is she regurgitating the feet and tail?
im wondering if maybe the feet and tail got cooked in the thawing process?
i know its a different animal, but i had a shingle back regurgitate cooked chicken and hes never regurged anything before that or since,..(the rest has been fed raw)
i use a ziplock bag and just put them in the fridge to defrost then about 20 mins before feeding i get them out to warm up to room temp. when is it due for the next feed try it and see how u go ..
I tried microwaving it, cos i read a comment on one of the threads (little did i know it was sarcastic)
40 seconds later a new microwave was needed and the smell was amazing. -.-
lol simply take it out of the freezer place in a strongly sealed plastic bag such as a snap-lock bag then ither place somewhere that you will not forget it wait a few hours an bamm reptile food to go
