Yes its a good book for someone just starting out.I think they normally got for about $20

Yeah Spottie, go for it. Heaps of info specially about diseases & health care. Also breeding etc. Yup it goes for $20 - $21 in the shops.

Yeah,

Very good book, just ignore everything it says about the licensing system in NSW.

I have a spare copy of this book for $10 (as new) if anyone wants to pick it up from the illawarra region (couldn't be bothered posting it). PM me if interested.

What's a transplanted Sep please?? I've no idea whatsoever. LOL. We have the John Weigel book and we haven't even got a reptile yet. Gonna get a MD Python one day, when we have the time. Cheers Cheryl

makes sense to get as many books as you can if you can afford too, no such thing as too little info :)

Very true, I have eight to ten dedicated to reptiles

Not wishing to brag at all (well, maybe a little) but I have 54 books dedicated to reptiles and amphibians. Plus two on dinosaurs.

Yeah but most of yours are Little Golden Books Hixey. They aren't counted.

Maybe general society would be more sympathetic to the reptiles of this world if Little Golden Books had a few stories about "Spot, the Spotted Python", "Amethyst, the Scrubbie", "Sparkle, the Diamond Python" or "Goldie, the Jungle Carpet".
:p
Just a thought.

Will you lend em out hix, I'd love to read them all - sound really good. LOL

Hix, you're not going to believe this, but my thoughts exactly - I've written one, but haven't sent to any publishers yet.
