It has happened AGAIN!!

Hello,
My female BHP seems to polapse after every feed now:x. And it just keeps on coming out even more. Then i see her doing no poo's but the bulge in her stomache has gone away. Do you think if this keeps on happening i might have to put her to sleep? Will upload pics when my SD card decides to read on my comp!!:evil:

Thats not good to hear jordy.:cry: You may have to look into putting her to sleep. Can anything be done by the vet to fix her? Or have you already tried that?

Lol man it is the 5th time it has happened. I dont want to let her go but if its better for her i will. She has had surgery which cost $200 but nope that didnt work.

Well if it is that bad that every time you feed her she is having prolapses, it may be better to stop her suffering.

I certainly hope not. Anyway it just seems like it just doesnt want to go back in tonight. Luke warm water with a quarter of a cup of sugar normally works. But to night its about 1cm out, a great way to start the new year of.

Maybe give the snake a rest from feeding for a few months see of that helps

I have been feeding her 1 adult mouse like once a month. But after the last 2 times i feed her weaners. Would 2 months be ok?

Also i hardly hold her, its not from me nor anyone in my family as its the room with all the clothes that need ironing and mum goes in there like once a week.

This time its is out for ages, it just seems it wont go back in. I havent checked her for about 3 days as she was in her hide.

So you found her "prolapsed" in her hide? Was it still wet or dry

Its a bit of both, better not have done some thing to her urgh!!

I wasn't sure what a prolapse is so I googled and found this.
Prolapsed Hemipenis in Snake
It seems to be referring to a male snake, but there may be some tips on there that you could try maybe?
Anyways, best of luck with her, and I hope she gets better.

Thanks Magick, I got her of Snake Ranch so i would be trusting them that they proped her properly.. Its like a ballon coming out of her bum. Still not going in!! Im giving her a bath every 5 mins.

I have tried putting sugar directly on now, just have to wait and see what happens.
