Hi Guy's. Well today was a fun day down at the horses saw 4 brown snakes and 2 reb belly's (rnt redbellys canabilistic and would eat the browns)? and i got a call from a friend wo has load of reptiles and he has to sell most of them because he is moving and he couldnt fund a new home for this adult female jacky dragon. I said ill take it but i want some help on them before i get it, like cage designs, basking temp, wat type of substrate and i have a 4ft tank here what i got custom made for my ewd but he died:cry: so he didnt see the new cage i was gonna put him in. So plz help me a bit i love these little lizards and allways catch them but dont know to much about substrate to use and basking temp.
Thanx Jordy:D

Also i think the thing is pregnet or gravid and also want to know what incubation mix and temp.
Thanx

Here is my Jacky enclosure.

I use peat moss in the enclosure and it varies from 3 to 10cm in depth.
Make sure you have plenty of climbing branches as they love to climb, i keep them at the same temperatures as beardies.

James very impressive. Ok so they prefer height than length or a combination of both would be best. Would sand or the eco earth from exo terra be allright? Also would they want a waterfall in it or just a big dish?

Yes sand would work.
I have a big dish in mine, they regularly drink from it.
If you can't get them to drink from that get a waterfall or set up a dripping system to run down a stick etc.

Hey Tyson. I heard tonight of him that she is gravid and is due to lay in about 1 month so i am very keen to get and incubator setup and help with setting up hatchlings. Like what incubation mix and what temp would i have to have to get a clutch of boys?
Thanx

O yer i forgot to mention "she is gravid" but i dont really know. I saw her today and he just keeps her on kitty litter and just a heat light pumping allday long without a thermostate so that made me even more anxious to get her. Does anyone have a pic of a normal on with its stomach and one with eggs. I can see 3 lumps in her so i dont know if that is anything.

I took some pics but cause of my silly family they move everything away from there originall spot.

Does anyone know much bout breeding? These are going to be one of the dragons i am going to breed.
