Hi there, I currently have a 6 month old male Bredli, and was looking at getting a female with the view to breeding the pair in a couple of years.

I have the male in a juvenile set up at the moment but will soon be moving him into a 900mm x 450mm x 450mm enclosure.

My question is - If I aquire a female of the same age can she be put into the larger enclosure with the male, or should they be kept totally seperate until the are of a breeding age?

Thanks.

Like luke said, life is so much easier keeping them seperate, I personally cant see the point in keeping together just for the sake of say saving some room and money, if people are doing it for this reason maybe they should think of a hobby that suits there space and wallet better ;)

Too easy guys, thanks for the info. I have plenty of space if I get the female .... if the wife lets me that is!

I would keep them seperate if possible. It is much more beneficial to the snake to have its own enclosure.
