Man i just started stocking King Island beef in my butcher shop and it is definately the best beef i have ever had. Only problem is, it is that good that after a full day in the pub today i came home and cooked a you beaut steak sandwich and then realised it is good friday???????

Cheers Pubmole

hahahahahahahahaha, i think it would be a sin to waste such good meat. I hope you still ate it Stevo

Simone.

lol yes i did eat it and basket u might need to get a life first

Did you have any King Island cheeses before the main meal Stevo...LOL

I served lots of meat on Friday.

The Olives had just sloughed so it was moist and juicy thawed rat for them - they both pigged out big time.

As for the humans it was we did not actually eat much at all... did have some slithers of steak sauted with some sliced Italian sausage for breakfast served with crisped garlic naan, and fresh tomato and galic salsa - but that was breakfast.

Hey Stevo , try buying some meat a company called LEE PRATT MEATS , out of Casino , i think they may have changed there name , not sure . Leave's King Island meat for dead . Mealts in your mouth ! :D

Lovely stuff Stevo. Pasture fed is the only way. Leaves grain/feed lot for dead. Oh! they all get left for dead.

but that was breakfast.
That doesn't count then. We bought some praws but they only filled a little hole till meat arrived for tea! BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD oh well

Love Steak!!

I had a steak on Thursday at the local Sophias. They do it pretty well but they need to hang it for a couple of weeks longer.

Vlados - now there is a guy who can do a steak! Never had a bad steak there. I'll bet he was open on Friday.

I've been butchering 16 years had the shops for 5 years and had a lot of different beef, but i have to agree with you there Peter the king island pasture fed beef has the best flavour that i have tasted and is nice and tender as well. I had actually forgotten that steak has a wonderful flavour because most the other beef i can get is either grain fed or a mixture of grain fed/ grass fed.
