Posted a few weeks ago about my boyd boy who I though was sulking over his viv makeover, he snapped out of it ok and has been pretty active until thisafternoon I came home and he was laying limp on the substrate
with a mouthful of the substrate
I don't have any wodies or crix roaming in there as I learnt the hard way first time round and since the reno am only tong feeding, so I don't understand the mouthful of substrate ( I use the pete moss with spagnum moss ontop ) he has been digging for the last few days which I find odd as he is definately male but my girl is inspecting his digging...I gave him some trex hydrolife as he hasn't been eating off the tongs that much so it was just as a boost/safe guard
Does anyone know a good REPTILE vet, I know none are reptile specific but one that knows what they are talking about or does anyone have any Idea's what I can do?
He sat on my hand limply while I gave him the drops eyes still shut and then built up some energy to jump under a plant and hasn't moved since...I watch them constantly and this is completely out of charicter - PLEASE help I'm really worried

Hey funksta, where do a google search on reptile vets around where you are located,as for the mouth full of substrate, ive been told they will eat substrate if they have some sort of stomach infection, hope this helps, good luck with your baby.

I'm rural so don't care where the vet is I'll call first thing in the morning and hopefully they can co consult with my vet or something, mine aren't egzactly reptile savvy to put it nicely.I've never heard of substrate eating so hopefully it's something simple- I hate seeing him like this he really has me worried
