I saved this girl off the back of a truck as she was stuck in between some pallets, lucky she was not injured. I moved the pallets and put her in a box till we had finished unloading the truck. She was a little thirsty and looked quit fat, to my surprise when we got back to her she had dropped some babies. Would love to know what kind she was.

Was the truck / cargo local too, if so its Cyclodomorphus michaeli, though quite a nice looking one.

yes it is local it acts like a snake too quite unusual

yeah, they get pretty agro, and bite pretty hard for a small lizard, they get pretty stroppy with each other at times too, they like areas with overgrown grass.

Their tongues act like a snake and when i released her she slithered off instead of running ( from what i could see). And yes she was very snappy, she jumps at you when she snaps mouth wide open and a jet black tounge.

Glad i saved her and to see that things are still breeding in the wild.
