Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good graphic design program they have tried ?
I need to design a new logo and would appreciate anyone letting me know what they have tried and found good value

Use Illustrator for logo's. as vectors can be resized with out loosing quality.

Illustrator is your best bet mate. Photoshop is irrelevant for logo/branding, unless you are tweaking it for print or web.

Thanks looks like Illustrator it is, I need to design 2 new logo for business cards, thanks again for your recommendations guy

Use illustrator in conjunction with Indesign for business cards and you'll be sweet. All the best mate

Like d3pro said, illustrator is the way to go- a logo needs to be versatile.
