I am sure that nobody posting here was having a direct stab at the gay community, instead we were having a jeer at africa himself, if you want to take offense at that then all well and good but i would like to say that i have a couple of good mates that are gay and this sort of stuff they find funny rather then offensive.

It is the choice of life they choose for themselves no body makes them do it therefore they accept that they may see things like this and instead of getting all high and mighty they take it with a grain of salt and choose to see the lighter side of it...

I suppose it is called having a sense of humour and not taking life so seriously, i am sure that no one here meant any offense by it

i did pick up a virus that wasnt there yesterday arvo and i have only cliked on that link so far today, the pop ups where more than just suss.
sorry it may not have anything to do with that link i would just be weary thats all

Interesting business model, but fairly dishonest. Build the "Joke" page and the Joker (and sometimes the "Jokee") emails the url (a URL costs money, in America you could register a site name for about 50 cents for a month) to all thier friends, or posts it on a forum, and they ALL go and have a look and most get bombarded with ads. THe website gets a micro payment for every time an ad is displayed. If they have been really greedy they would have altered your computer settings so you get their ads every time you log on.
In short, if you use a windows computer and IE, then run ad-aware ASAP.

I must point out that I was guessing the malicious code bit. I won't use IE to connect to the net and I have a seperate computer that acts as a firewall so I just don't see these problems.

i also just had NOD32 block a virus from that site too.... nothing to big just a trojan that was easily deleted... would make sure your anti virus software is up to date before viewing it tho..
