I tried doing some research on google but just got super confused, so I figured it'd be worth it to ask here as well! I'm looking to get my first pet turtle, I originally wanted one that didn't really need a tank/lots of water but I've realized that's probably not an option (I think I'm over-estimating what turtles can do bahaha). I want a house pet turtle, or tortoise (since I'd rather a not watery fella, but if a water turtle is the only option I'm more than happy to set up a tank for him.) What in your experiences is the best pet turtle? And why? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I presume you're located in Australia?? If so, an aquatic turtle is your only option and what you can and can't have solely depends on what state or territory you live in and what licence you have.
