You mabe noticed that I was gone from forum for 2 and half days.
I have been biking on my Yamaha Teneri at snowy mountains.
I had great time with group of friends and we managed to ride 1950 km of beautifull mountains road. 300 of it dirt tracks.

My bum is healing and i am looking for next adwenture soon.

Who said that man is old after 50. he?

nice; I hit 189kmph on the calder with RS250 passing a B-double which was mad (crazy 2 ) yesty arvo but I love the feel of speed and the look of people when you drop the clutch and scream off from the lights.

glad you have fun, with the freedom of the road/trail is sensational when you got good friends and plenty off time on your hand for the adventures

My Teneri 660 is nice strong bike, but fastest I have ride on it is 155km/h.
It is not build for racing on the seeled road, but do greate job as universal bike on and off road for touring.
We are going for 3 weeks tour starting from Cairns in July. Mostly dirttrack. I can't wait.

Sounds like fun Slatey,
Road riding is good but i reckon flying thru the bush is the best,
i miss my dirtys will have to reinvest oneday.

Glad to see there are a number of two wheeled enthusiasts on the scene. I have an Aprilia 1000 sl Falco. Love the bike and the power it delivers. ONe problem i have found living in Bathurst with the best race track in the world, is that the cops always hang out up there. I am not sure whether it spoils the fun, or adds to the exxxxxcitement.

I have a Ninja 900, Know where you are coming from, hardto compare the feeling of the open road and power to burn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

onya slatey... i must say, i love bikes, and am very much a 'ducati girl' myself :D Parents won't let me get bike license though..say its too dangerous  then again they're nervous bout me getting my car license, so i think, i'll just go get one anyways, and eventually save up enough for my own bike...cant w8!

Yeah, they look at you and say, what a tosser!

RE: Re: RE: Love biking

Looks like we have lot of biking lovers here.
200 on scooter is shocking. I think that my bike will have to take ride of shame. I am sure that I can't get that speed from my Teneri660.
Thank you all for comments.
