Hi All,
We have six bottles of this port. Dates are 1925,1927,1930,1939, 1930 and unknown.
Some of the labels aren't that good as you can see by the picture.
Have no idea what these are worth......would like some suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Ha ha ha..... I'll give ya 20 bucks. Last time I went to visit pilbara pythons we couldnt buy a beer because it was sunday. He sent the missus around to mug the neighbours & steal a carton.

I better be ready for next time

HEHE Would rather drink em meself!!
You have to have class to appreciate good port!! lol

when its cold and I am sittin around a campfire, I have class then. I even appreciate crappy port.
I must ooze class.

I'd be conacting Seppelts and seeing if they can suggest what the would be worth.Otherwise try an auction house. You might be sitting on little bit of money there.

Greetings Fay

Due to the wine market collapse... I would hold on to them as you really are not going to get much for them.

Seems like the only wines still making anything reasonable in the auctions are the Granges and the French Reds.

Try this web site to compare values

http://www.wine-searcher.com/

(Cut and pasted from site)
Wine-Searcher's daily updated database of 7350 wine merchants' price lists saves you money when buying wines. The site provides the fastest and easiest way to find who is selling a wine, to compare prices between wine stores, and to value wines.

mmmm they are making me thirsty. I would be cracking one open immediately

If class is measured by how much beer or alcohol substancesa man can guzzle down in an hour, then Westaussie is straight out noble.

You can tell by the labels and the condition of the bottles, seals etc, they aren't worth Jack Afro.

If you just give em to me I will dispose of them properly.

p.sif anyone want's to watch me dispose of them you are more than welcome. I'll even let you have a go..

This is the advice that I would take if I were you. Definately don't crack them open until you know for sure.

Considering their age even if they have no significant value now a collector might see potential down the track, who knows.

Good Luck!!

Will take $600.00 the lot , (just on the prices I see). Below that we will keep 'em for another fifty years!! lol
The one with the black label is 1930 presented to Malcolm Frazer in 1977. (I think he was the pm...so that would be a better drop I reckon, or it is poisoned, one or the other) hehe
