making a website

does anyone know how to make a website?i want to make my own.

first get yaself a hammer and a bag of nails.....
seriously though, download some trial software and just have a go playing with it for a while to get used to it. Thats what I did for mine and totally stuffed it up but I think it is the best way to go at first. Once you know it is what you want to do for sure and that you are prepared to spend the necessary time updating it etc then go out and buy yaself some good software for the task. This is what I have just done and am now trying to learn how to use it, lol.
