Male weight

Hey guys, I am about to commence attempting to breed South west carpets, I have done the thermal cycling and all, will not be overly disappointed if it fails but thought id give it a shot, just wondering, The female is 2.3kg which i no is heavy enough, although, The male im going to attempt to breed with is 3.5 years old, but only 1.3 kg, is this too light?

In my experience, i'd say he would be sexually mature and capable of mating successfully, but you should be able to easily "pop" his hemipenes and find evidence of sperm and maybe even discharge some plugs???

I've known of female carpets that have had clutches and only weighed around 800 - 900 grams, so he probably is big enough.
