yeah he's lucky alright!!! there have been quite a few similar incidents like this in the US where the owner has died from a viper bite...i think one in 2003 died from not being able to get treated with the anti-venom in time...just goes to show ya how dangerous it can be to keep elapids...experience or no experience
 
They are just the most beautiful snake, not too keen on the 40mm long fangs though :)

hehehe...and YES i am aware that elapids and vipers are 2 different types of snakes

was meant to say vipers, but u know, insomnia will fail ur brain at any ungiven moment :)

anywaysm lets just say venomous snakes are dangerous, ok :D
